It is an open secret that AP government has no funds to construct the capital city Amaravati nor did it get any financial assistance from the BJP led union government. Yet again, the TDP wanted to make some noise through innovative methods so as to make people assumed that some sort of progress is going on with Amaravati's construction.
As a result, various designs of assembly, high court and other major buildings are being created by London based Norman Foster Company and are well publicized by pro TDP yellow newspapers.
What if the government gets changed post 2019's elections? Will the new government adopt Amaravati designs and will ensure the capital construction on a brisk pace?
According to some major opposition parties, these designs are merely a futile exercise from the TDP and they are no way useful for people's welfare. These designs will be sacked. Though Amaravati construction is allowed, other major cities and towns wouldn't be ignored and they also will be developed investing good money on them. Especially, caste factors won't be allowed in the development of cities," say some close sources of opposition political parties.
