Akhil scored brownie points as a performer with his second venture Hello. Yet, he is indebted to score a huge blockbuster that suits to his energy levels. At this juncture, his third  project turns out to be crucial for the actor. 

Recently, there have been reports that King Nagarjuna wanted to rope in top director Sukumar for his younger son's 3rd film. There were no further reports had the director given nod for the proposed project or not.

In the meanwhile, Akhil in his latest interview confirmed that he would be revealing the details of his next film on January 10. Interestingly, Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Agnyathavasi is releasing on the same day. It seems Akhil feels that highly awaited date the best his project to be announced.
