Chiranjeevi Strict No to Body Double

Megastar Chiranjeevi's historical magnum opus Sye Raa Narasimhareddy's next scheduled will kickstart from February 20 in Kerala. Of late, many rumours are flying thick and fast on the film. One of such gossips is that Megastar had roped in director Gunasekhar to supervise the project.

Director Surender Reddy, however, refuted the cooked up stories and made it clear that neither Gunasekhar had approached Sye Raa team nor was he contacted by the film's team. "Gunasekhar has  been busy with his next project Hiranyakasapa and is contemplating on no project at the moment", Surender Reddy affirmed. 

Meanwhile, the director has said he had asked Chiranjeevi to allow body double for some of the scenes. "But then, Chiranjeevi said strict no as he felt body doubles don't have his unique style" added the director. 

Sye Raa is considered to be the larger than life film which is based on the life of the first freedom fighter of India, Uyyalawada Narasimhareddy. Mega Power Star Ram Charan bankrolls the project on Konidela Production Company.
