When Sridevi Spit On Rajinikanth!

Sridevi's shocking demise in a sudden manner left entire world shellshocked. She made a lasting impression with owerful performances and well known fact that Sridevi flew to Bollywood after becoming a top star down south. 

Her first film 16 Vayathanile (Padaharella Vayasu) remains a classic. Her terrific performance in the film in which she shared screen presence opposite Super Star Rajinikanth is still the most talked about. 

In one scene, Sridevi was supposed to spit on Rajini's face. The scene did not come perfectly in spite of numerous retakes. At that instance, Rajini came to Sridevi and said 'You come forward.. and really spit on me, only then scene can turn natural and realistic.' 

Kamal Haasan who was the other hero in the film few years back said the same, the moment the film released, many said it will be a disaster. However we felt overjoyed when the film turned out to be a sensational hit.
