She Hates To Die On Screen

Malayalee beauty Nitya Menon is popular for being choosy when it comes to signing films. She attracted the ire of not only the fans but also the filmmakers for rejecting many crazy offers. Many started branding her as an arrogant actress but Nitya stole the hearts of all with her natural and realistic performances.

Nitya Menon who recently grabbed attention with her performance in Awe, which happens to be Nani's first production venture, speaking to scribes expressed her dislike to do such roles in future. 

Nitya vowed not to do films in which her characters end abruptly with the directors killing her role. Nitya says, “I’m never going to do another film where I’m going to die. They’re always killing me for an emotional high or something! I got Mersal, and I told Atlee, I’d made up my mind that I’m not going to do a film where I die again and you’re again bringing this!`` 

Nitya added, “If you do one scene in a certain way, people keep thinking of you in that way. That’s why this happens. Hopefully, I’ll be able to break that pattern sometime.”

Incidentally, Nitya's characters died in her last three films Inkokkadu, Mersal and Awe.
