Varma Clean Bowled Legendary Cricketer

Prashant Varma who surprised Telugu movie lovers with a novel entertainer like Awe is a die-hard cricket fan. Apart from being a fan, he is a very good player but later entered films once his interest shifted to filmmaking.

Prashant started concentrating on films as he could watch five films while playing a cricket match. He had to wait for long after he made short films with his concepts. 

Prashant was over the moon when he got a congratulatory call from legendary cricketer Brian Lara. He lavished praises on his short films and even asked him to make a short film on him. Prashant at once flew to Caribbean Islands and made a short film titled 'Not Out'.

During the shooting Prashant revealed that he even played cricket with Lara and he even clean bowled the legendary batsman for a first ball duck. Prashant revealed that he gifted a bat signed by Lara who wrote that he is the best director to his dad.
