Two Superstars Dividing The Nation

Cauvery issue has been the bone of contention for many decades between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Tamil Nadu is witnessing intense protests demanding the constitution of Cauvery Board to decide on the sharing of cauvery water. Even Supreme Court which gave its final judgement in favor of the Karnataka directed the Centre to constitute the board. 

In the meantime protests have taken an ugly turn with all political parties, film stars joining the issue. Protestors even started demanding the ban on IPL in Chennai and some even attacked IPL fans when they went to watch the match. Super Star Rajinikanth and Universal Hero Kamal Haasan came in support of the protests, finding fault with the Union Government and the Supreme Court's earlier decision. 

Many who are following the comments of Rajini and Kamal feel that the duo instead of uniting is dividing the country with their actions. Analysts feel they will soon face the wrath of Kannada people and foresee ban on their upcoming releases Kaala and Vishwaroopam 2 in Karnataka. 

Kannada actor Anant Nag blasted Rajini and Kamal for their actions. He said even the renowned stars are behaving like other politicians and playing petty politics. He said they should have shown the maturity of young hero Simbu who said Tamil Nadu and Karnataka should get equal share of Cauvery river waters.
