Exclusive: Puri To Direct Balakrishna NTR

Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna’s most ambitious project NTR biopic is in troubles with director Teja walked out of it owing to differences with the actor. Now that Balakrishna willing to release the film for Dussehra at any cost, he approached few directors to helm the film titled NTR. However, most of them refused the offer.

As per reliable sources, director Puri Jagannadh is almost finalized to direct Balakrishna’s NTR. It is heard that, when Balakrishna put the proposal of directing NTR before Puri, the director readily accepted as he shares great rapport with the actor and moreover no star hero is keen to work with him of late considering his recent track record.

On the other hand, Balakrishna has great regard for Puri Jagannadh. Though their film Paisa Vasool failed to mint money at box office, Balayya considers it as a hit. In fact, he thoroughly enjoyed doing the film.

Meanwhile, Balakrishna considered directors like K Raghavendra Rao, Krish, Krishna Vamsi and few others to direct the film. But, none showed interest.

If things materialize, NTR biopic will go on floors soon.
