Can BJP Reach Magic Number?

The Bjp is inching towards a victory in Karnataka polls. Giving a huge shocker to post poll predictions, which envisaged a hung or Congress' victory, Bjp appears to be crossing magic number. If not, it may fall short of two or three seats short of magic number.

There are a total of 224 assembly constituencies in Karnataka,. Any party that gets 113 seats can form the government. Accoding to existing reports, Bjp has got majority in 112 constituencies and chances are high to form government without getting any party's support.

If not, the Bjp may form a tie up with JD(S) to get strengthened for the smooth administration. In the meanwhile, Karnataka's CM Siddharamaiah got humiliating defeats in both Chamundeswari and Badami constituencies. On the other hand Bjp's CM candidate Yeddyurappa got a huge victory. The Bjp is likely to announce him officially the CM of the state.
