Teja To Direct Uday Kiran Biopic!

Tollywood is showing interest in making a number of biopics on some of the most legendary actors. Savitri’s biopic directed by Nag Ashwin is turning out to be a super duper hit. Nandamuri Balakrishna is planning to make biopic of his father and legendary actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao.

Latest we heard is that, director Teja is planning to make a film to show personal and professional life of actor Uday Kiran who committed suicide four years ago.

Uday Kiran who scored consecutive hits in career starting stages has faced downfall after series of flops. When Telugu filmmakers didn’t show any interest to sign him for their films, the actor took the extreme decision to end his life.

Director Teja introduced Uday Kiran with Chitram. Later they delivered a super hit Nuvvu Nenu. Their last movie Aunanna Kadanna was a debacle at box office.

Teja is one of the persons who closely observed Uday Kiran. When the director was working on the script of NTR biopic, he got the idea of making Uday Kiran’s biopic.

After walking out of NTR biopic, he is said to have decided to work on script for Uday Kiran biopic. More details will be divulged soon.
