The Janasena chief Power Star Pawan Kalyan took a historical decision on employees who come under 'Contributory Pension Scheme' (CPS). CPS employees can't get the benefits of 'Old Pension Scheme' employees. The savings of CPS employees are invested in stock market by the government. For a long time, employees have been agitating for the abolition of the scheme.
And today, the Janasena chief promised CPS employees that if Janasena forms government with a good majority, he would abolish CPS and would implement OPS to all employees.
"My father was a constable. Even after retirement, he would depended on his pension. Never ever had he taken money from us. You (government) are playing games with employees lives investing their earnings in stock market", said Pawan Kayan during his Porata Yatra at Palakonda in Srikakulam. Needless to say, there was a humongous response from CPS employees on Power Star's great gesture on their problem.
