Diehard fans of super star Rajinijanth are waiting eagerly for the release of his upcoming entertainer Kaala releasing on June 7th across the world in a grand manner. Even as they are getting happy that finally their long wait is ending, the makers got a huge shock when a journalist from Mumbai filled a 100crs defamation suit against them.
Jawahar through his legal team demand answers and also 100crs from the makers. He alleged that Kaala is based on his father Thiraviam Nadar's life. Thiraviam Nadar in 1957 moved to Dharavi, Mumbai from Tuticorin when it was facing severe drought and scarcity of water. He fought to solve the problems of Dharavi people, especially Tamilians, turning into a God Father for them.
Jawahar claims his father was revered as Gudwala Seth and was one of the biggest dealers of jaggery and sugar. He said Rajini's role Kaala Seth, in Kaala Karikalan resembles his father and the makers didn't consult or take his permission before proceeding ahead with the film. He accused Rajini and PA.Ranjith making the film only for political reasons and demanded credit to his name in the film's title card and also a defamation of Rs100crs.
