Kollywood Star Ilayadalapati Vijay is known for his powerful mass action entertainers with even more powerful social message. He is currently busy with his upcoming entertainer Sarkar which is progressing in full swing under the direction of Murugadoss.
The film’s first look that was released recently and it generated tremendous interest. However Sarkar poster landed in controversy as it showed Vijay smoking a cigarette. Tobacco Control Association president Grill Alexander already revealed that he will approach court against the poster.
In Tamil Nadu, the association has been fighting against smoking scenes in films and has been dragging top stars to court. The association feels that top stars have lot of fan following and these kind of acts will influence youth towards smoking.
Even fans of Thala Ajith and Super Star Rajinikanth are furious with Vijay fans as they tore away their hero’s posters and erect Vijay's posters in front of the theatres. In the midst of all these rumors are spreading that Sarkar story is similar to Mahesh Babu's Bharat Ane Nenu.
Just like in Bharat Ane Nenu where Mahesh returns from London to become CM of Andhra Pradesh, in Sarkar, buzz is Vijay returns from US to play powerful role in politics.
