Natasimha Balakrishna’s prestigious project NTR, biopic on his dad NTR is progressing at a brisk pace under the direction of creative director Krish. There is no chance for the delay in the film release scheduled for January, 2019. Now many are wondering whether the biopic is really to pay tribute to the Legend like NTR or for political gains.

When Tej was roped in as the director for the biopic, the makers planned it in two parts.

Inside talk is differences crept between Balakirshna and Teja as the former told the latter to finish off the biopic in one part after he readied the script with more than 150 scenes. Now after the entry of Krish replacing Tej as director, the makers slashed the scenes mercilessly. Now the film has only 75 scenes according to sources.

First half of the biopic shows NTR starting a studio and then ends with NTR taking oath as CM for the first time bringing TDP to power as an interval bang. Second half shows NTR working hard to come back to power after he loses it for the first time. The climax shows NTR coming to power and taking oath for the second time.

Entire second half shows how Chandra Babu Naidu, son in law of NTR and the current CM, worked hard to bring NTR to power using his meticulous planning and political strategies.

So all the doubts whether the infamous coup and Viceroy episode enacted by Chandra Babu Naidu to dethrone NTR are cleared. There will not be any mention about it. The film will end with NTR taking oath for the second time and there will not be a sad ending like Savitri’s biopic Mahanati.

During the recent discussions which happened between Chandra Babu Naidu, Balakrishna and Krish, they came to these following decisions. Inside talk is they will include few additional scenes to exonerate Chandra Babu in the viceroy episode and elevate his image in the hearts of the people during the election year. So many feel that this is not a biopic to pay tributes to legendary actor NTR, but to boost the sagging image of AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu during the upcoming 2019 elections.
