Star Director Multistarrer Is A Rip-Off

Star director Maniratnam lost his sheen long time back. However all his fans and movie lovers are expecting a miracle from him and this time they are waiting eagerly for his upcoming entertainer Nawab (Chekka Chivantha Vaanam in Tamil). 

The multistarrer stars Aravind Swamy, Simbu, Arun Vijay, Vijay Sethupahy, Jyothika, Aditi Rao Hydari, Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh in important roles. Buzz is that Maniratnam was inspired by a Hollywood film for Nawaab. Rumours are spreading like a wild fire as this happens to be a political entertainer. 

Some say Maniratnam got inspired by Hollywood classic The Godfather. However Mani already scored a hit with Kamal's Nayakudu, which is heavily inspired by The Godfather. The question is will Maniratnam once again draw inspiration from the same Hollywood classic for Nawaab.
