Rangasthalam 1st, BAN 3rd

Popular online cine ticketing agency Book My Show has released the list of top grossing movies of India over a span of previous 12 months (one year).. According to the list, Sanjay Dutt's Sanju occupied the first place with Rs.298 crores gross collections through Book My Show while Deepika Padukone's Padmaavat stood at 2nd with Rs.268 crores collections. 

As far as Telugu films are concerned, Mega Power Star Ram Charan's Rangasthalam occupied the top slot with Rs.94 crores gross collections. Vijay Deverakonda's sensational hit Geetha Govindam holds second place with Rs.54 crores gross collections. 

Meanwhile, Prince Mahesh Babu's Bharat Ane Nenu satisfied with 3rd position accumulating Rs.52 crores gross collections. 

All the collections shown above have come from A centres as Book My Show agency works mostly for A centres online ticketing. 

An interesting observation is that the poster collections of Rangasthalam and BAN had no much variation. However, in reality, there is a lot of difference of collections between both the films as per Book My Show.
