Mahesh Rejected, But Promoting The Film

Star director Mani Ratnam's latest outing Nawab is doing wonderful business in Tamil Nadu, overseas and few other regions, wherein it is not up to the mark in Telugu states, though the film received positive feedback. 

The main reason for the film’s below par performance is low key promotions and presence of only Tamil stars in it. Vijay Sethupathi, Aravind Swamy, Simbu and Arun Vijay played lead roles in the gangster film.

Meanwhile, superstar Mahesh Babu who of late is encouraging good films has watched Nawab and he sung praises for entire team. “#ChekkaChivanthaVaanam... stellar performances ..

Apparently, Mahesh Babu who can fluently speak Tamil has watched original version of the film, because he didn’t even include hashtag of Nawab.

Curiously, there were reports that, Mahesh Babu was approached to play one of the lead roles in Nawab, but he rejected it. Now, Mahesh Babu has come in support of Nawab by promoting it in social media.
