Vikram struggled a lot during the early days of his career and later attained stardom in Kollywood. He became popular in Tollywood with firms like Siva Putrudu and Aparichitudu. However after Aparichitudu, Vikram known for his versatile acting didn’t get a single hit for the last 13 years.

Even Shankar's I (Manoharudu in Telugu) didn’t give him success. Except for the average grossers Naanna and I, all his films turned out to be disasters. His film Sketch didn’t even recover the posters cost and Samy Square, sequel for his hit film Saamy shows in what position Vikram is in selection of stories.

Vikram’s diehard fans too are banging their heads as to how he decided to star in the film which had such a weak story. Vikram at the age of 52 lost his glamor and in Saamy Square he looked very old. Though he tried to attract all with his stunts, his age didn’t cooperate with him.

Vikram looked old opposite Keerthy Suresh. Under these circumstances doubts are hovering over his bouncing back to stardom. It has to be seen whether Vikram will break his 13 years jinx and show his power with his upcoming entertainer Dhruva Nakshatram directed by Gautam Menon.
