Renu Rejected, Pawan Convinced

The relation between Power Star Pawan Kalyan and his former wife Renu Desai surprises all. Though they parted ways they hog the media limelight with Renu Desai sharing her sweet memories with Pawan Kalyan and her children Aadya and Akira. 

This is unlike Pawan's other ex wife who disappeared from his life after his third marriage with Anna Lezhnova. Many feel since Renu is a film actress, fans of Pawan too got connected with her as Pawan and Renu romanced in couple of films. 

Pawan's fans started adoring and respecting Renu as their Vadina, despite Pawan marrying Anna. When Renu got engaged to another person, Pawan's fans turned furious and waged war of words with her. 

In the meantime Renu who remained silent for sometime after the war, came up with a shocker about Power Star. She said she rejected Pawan Kalyan’s directorial debut Johnny which also marked her debut as production designer. 

She said, "I rejected the offer to play lead role in Johnny but Pawan Kalyan convinced me to act just two weeks before the commencement of the shooting. I used to work for around 17 hours per day for seven months for the movie."
