2.0 Telugu: Herculean Task Ahead

Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth's 2.0 was released in all time record number of centres today. The film has opened with positive reports bringing cheers to the makers. The movie had a grand Telugu version's release in AP and Telangana as well and is carrying positive reports. 

It is a known news that the film did a humongous pre release business Rs.72 crores in Telugu states. It's felt it has been an abnormal number for Telugu states. Not only should the film create opening records but also it must get long run to reach break even in Telugu states. Somehow, it appears to be a Herculean task. 

It must be remembered that November and the the first half of December are considered to be un-season for films. Yet, when a larger than life cinema is embraced by the audience, sky is the limit for the film's collections. Let's wait and see if 2.0 gets its task achieved or not. 

2.0 has been directed by Shankar on Lyca Productions. Akshay Kumar sported antagonist in the film while Amy Jackson essayed female lead.
