Super Star, The Savior Of Bollywood Stars

Super Star Rajinikanth’s stardom is well known and needs no introduction. Mere mention of his name is enough to set cash counters ringing. Even his below average films do well at the box office though they fall short of expectations. Now Rajini has become the savior of many Bollywood stars.

Rajinikanth-Shankar’s 2.0 which released couple of weeks ago crossed Rs 600 crs and this turned out to be the highest grosser in Bollywood star Akshay Kumar’s career. It is known that Akshay Kumar played the important role as Pakshi Raja, who troubles with his hatred towards mobile phones. The worldwide collections of 2.0 is much more than Akshay’s last two releases PadMan and Gold.

Earlier Rajinikanth’s Kaala featured Bollywood star Nana Patekar. The film collected over Rs 250 crores and it turned out to be the highest grosser in Nana Patekar’s career. Similarly Rajinikanth’s Kabali had Radhika Apte while Lingaa had Sonakshi Sinha and both the films turned out to be the highest grosser in their careers. 

Now Nawazuddin Siddiqui who is starring in Rajinikanth’s upcoming entertainer Petta directed by Karthik Subbaraj expects for the same powerful boost at the box office. Knowing Rajini’s stardom, he can be rest assured that he will get the highest collections in his career.
