Fans and movie lovers across the world are celebrating Super Star Rajinikanth's birthday today in a spectacular manner. While many waited eagerly for some specials from Rajini on his birthday, he disappointed all by staying away from media blitz. He remained secluded and preferred silent celebrations.

Fans who expected some powerful message from Rajini about films and politics got extremely disappointed. Actually, Rajini is not in Chennai and flew to Mumbai on Tuesday itself. He will be returning from Mumbai only in the weekend. So Rajini missed even the traditional celebrations in his house at Poes Gardens, Chennai where his close associates used to greet him by placing a tilak on his forehead.

However makers of his upcoming entertainer Petta directed by Karthik Subbaraj, delighted them by releasing the powerful teaser which is now going viral on social media. Rajini will be seen in two shades as university professor and as a village man sporting different looks. He is romancing yesteryear hotties Trisha and Simran in the film which also stars Vijay Sethupati, Nawazuddin Siddique, Megha Akash, Bobby Simha and others in key roles.
