First Blow To Antariksham

Mega Prince Varun Tej’s upcoming space thriller Antariksham 9000 KMPH directed by Sankalp Reddy is slated for a grand release on Dec 21. Though the film is facing competition from another four films that include Sharwanand’s romantic entertainer Padi Padi Leche Manasu, the makers are confident of the film’s success as they are promising entertainment with new genre.

In the midst of huge expectations and makers happy with the completion of the film business, they got a huge shock in form of a distributor. Benz Arjun from Andhra Pradesh who spoke about a deal suddenly walked out of the agreement, giving a huge shock. Krish’s corporation, First Frame has decided to release the film on its own. If the film turns out to be a hit, they can pocket the profits otherwise they have to bear the losses.

Arjun showed interest to bag the rights of Andhra region for Rs 8crs. However due to tremendous competition on Friday and also since it happens to be an unknown genre, he decided to drop out at the last minute. 

They felt that masses cannot get easily connected to such stories. Now the makers have to get Rs 8crs only from Andhra region to reach the breakeven. The film stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Lavanya Tripati and is facing competition from Padi Padi Leche Manasu, KGF and Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero.
