Why So Much Negativity Around Akhil?

Akkineni Akhil scored his third flop and completed hat-trick of flops. This is worrying sign for all Akkineni fans and also Akkineni family. Many are now left wondering why there is so much negativity surrounding around Akhil.

There is no surprise that Akhil -The Power of Jua turned out to be a disaster as it had substandard content. But even his second film Hello, a romantic entertainer which got positive talk too turned out to be a disaster.

His third venture, Mr Majnu too did not get negative talk. Though the film did not get negative talk, many felt that it was a decent entertainer. Critics too gave it moderate rating. With such feedback, any project would have survived or at least reached breakeven.

But Mr Majnu might have just recovered around 60% and thus turned out to be another flop. If a newcomer gets two successive flops, there will be sympathy for the hero among the movie lovers. However this did not happen in case of Akhil and many say the over action he did during his debut film turned out to be the negative factor.

Akkineni family members and fans projected him as Tollywood's next super star. Nagarjuna made him endorse top brands across the nation. They spent a lot for Akhil's debut film and elevated him a lot. Even Akhil behaved not like a debutante but as an established star.

While trying to exhibit confidence, he crossed the thin redline and got branded as an arrogant actor. This became a negative factor after the film release. Movie lovers did not show sympathy after Akhil's debut film disaster. The negativity spread among movie lovers can be gauged by the fact why Hello despite getting positive talk did not do well at the box office. Now it seems it is continuing even after Mr Majnu release.

Movie lovers have only one choice after F2 which turned out to be super hit. It is Akhil's Mr Majnu and based on the talk it received, it should have done well. However people shockingly are not showing interest to watch this film. It has to be seen whether negativity on Akhil reduces among movie lovers before the release of his next film.
