Litmus Test On Lovers Day

Even before making her debut on the silver screen, Malayalam actress Priya Prakash Varrier has become an internet sensation. First, her wink act in Manikya Malaraya Poovi song in Oru Adaar, and now a lip-lock scene from the same movie is breaking the internet.

The film’s teaser has Priya Prakash Varrier locking lips with her Oru Adaar Love co-actor Roshan Abdul Rauf. Like the wink clip, the kissing clip is also going viral in social media. The film directed by Omar Lulu will have simultaneous release in Telugu as Lovers Day on February 14th as Valentine’s Day treat to love birds.

Priya Varrier has become most sought and she was flooded with many offers. But, she initially refused many offers as she allotted bulk call sheets for Oru Adaar Love as the makers opted to script change and went for re-shoots after receiving overwhelming response from audience across the nation for ‘wink’video.

Finally, Lovers Day is hitting the screens. But, Telugu makers are in waiting mode to sign her for their movies. If Priya can impress in the movie and if the film gets positive talk, Priya would surely considered for few upcoming crazy projects in Telugu or else she would have to prove her mettle with her next movie. On the flip side, many feel that, she is not a heroine material. So, Lovers Day will be a litmus test for Priya.

According to reports, Priya Varrier is confirmed as one of the heroines opposite Natural Star Nani in a film to be directed Vikram Kumar.
