No Takers For Devarakonda Heroine

Telugu girl Priyanka Jawalkar who featured in various short films has made dream debut in films romancing happening hero Vijay Devarakonda in his last film Taxiwala directed by Rahul Sankrityayan. Even though Taxiwala turned out as a decent hit, Priyanka is not getting any offers.

Priyanka Jawalkar who received TSR TV9 best debut heroine Award has hoped the success of Taxiwala will land her in some prestigious ventures. But, that did not happen. She wasn’t approached even for small to medium range films so far. Apparently, being a Telugu girl is the reason behind Telugu filmmakers not considering Priyanka for their films.

Earlier as well, Telugu filmmakers neglected many talented Telugu heroines who later ventured into other industries to test their luck there. Anjali, Colors Swathi, Sri Divya, Bindu Madhavi, Ritu Varma etc. are the Telugu speaking heroines who made their mark in films of other languages.
