Mega Star Chiranjeevi, who has been maintaining distance from active politics, may not resume his political career in near future. He has been away from active politics ever since he resumed film career from Khaidi number 150. Presently, Chiru is busy shooting for his dream project Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan.

Earlier, speculations were rife that, Chiranjeevi will join his younger brother Pawan Kalyan's Janasena party and play the role of advisor. There were even reports that, mega star is giving some political tips to Pawan Kalyan who has been struggling to emerge as a leader in Andhra Pradesh.

However, it is almost confirmed that, Chiranjeevi will not have any association with any political party in the upcoming elections. Neither he will contest from Congress or JSP, nor he campaign for any of these parties. Seems like, Chiru doesn’t want to take any chances at this point of time by making comeback in politics, given that he is still mega star of Telugu cinema. His last movie Khaidi No 150 was a runaway hit and demand is huge for his ongoing film Sye Raa.

The question is what Pawan Kalyan can achieve without any backing from his elder brother Chiranjeevi. If Pawan gets Chiru’s support, chances are high for JSP to get maximum assistance from Kapu community. More importantly, entire mega family and mega fans would have lent their full support to the party.

Apparently, Chiru too is not confident of Janasena to do wonders in the upcoming Assembly elections as the party chief is finding it difficult even to finalize candidates for various constituencies.

The D-Day for elections in Andhra Pradesh is less than a month days. It has to be seen whether Pawan Kalyan alone can persuade people to vote for his party in the polls!
