Shocker: Telugu Film Dominates Hindi Hit

Critics brutally slammed recently released film Chikati Gadilo Chithakkottudu hit the screens couple of days ago. However, the film is performing far better to all other releases of this week, including the Bollywood sensation Kesari starring Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra in lead roles.

CGC in its main theater- Sandhya 70 MM collected 22,146 and 36,365 gross respectively from morning and matinee shows today. Kesari is screening in two theaters in RTC X Roads- Sudarshan and Tarakarama. It collected 8,734 and 11,749 gross from morning shows and 20,011 and 16,993 gross from matinee shows from the two theaters.

Vishal and Mohan Lal’s Puli Joodam is also turning out to be a disaster. The film raked 9,570 and 11,278 for first two shows today.

It seems like Chikati Gadilo Chithakkottudu is going to be a sleeper hit. The film which is high on adult humor is pleasing masses. Adith Arun and Mirchi Hemanth played lead roles in the film directed by Santosh P Jayakumar.
