Mega Power Star Ram Charan's debut film Chirutha hit the screens on 28 September 2007. The film collected around Rs.25 crores share and ran 100 days in 30+ direct centres. Till now, none of the heroes debut film breached Ram Charan's debut film collection records. 

Incidentally,, till now, Ram Charan is being considered the last superstar of Tollywood. Post the debut of Mega Power Star many more crazy young heroes debuted to Tollywood and proved their mettle such as Natural Star Nani, Vijay Devarakonda, Sharwanand, Mega Prince Varun Tej, Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej, Naga Chaitanya, Akhil and many more.

Some of the aforesaid heroes may attain super stardom in near future. Until then, Ram Charan will be continuing as the last superstar of Tollywood..

Of course, Ram Charan fulfilled all the norms to be the biggest superstar. He has already delivered two industry hits like Magadheera and Rangasthalam. Another industry hit is guaranteed with Rajamouli's RRR. Apart from industry hits, Ram Charan has other hits and super hits like Rachcha, Naayak, Yevadu and Dhruva. His Govindudu Andadele stood as an average venture while his utter flop ventures like Orange and Bruce Lee collected good opening shares. 

It turned out to be a common practice, Ram Charan's films are doing record pre release business and record opening shares. Above all, Ram Charan stands out one among the few heroes who has good success track record. 

And truly, Ram Charan turns the biggest challenge to his juniors to get his records crossed and to be termed as the bigger star than Ram Charan.
