When ANR Showed His Tantrums

Even legends show their tantrums troubling their producers. Nata Samrat Anr too is not an exception. After shifting to Hyderabad, he vowed not to enter into Madras Studios.

One director requested him to participate in a song shoot in outdoor shoot in Madras. Anr who relented reluctantly however shocked all by walking out of the song shoot refusing to participate saying that the lyrics had obscene words.

Everyone knows that Anr was a romantic hero and earlier danced to many songs which had obscene words. Anr troubled this producer and director only out of anger that they planned a shoot in Madras. Industry bigwigs stepped in and resolved the issue amicably.

Even for his much acclaimed Seetha Ramayyagari Manavaralu, Anr refused to star with original bald head and insisted on having a wig. Producer threatened to shelve the project but industry biggies entered and resolved the matter. Legendary actress Bhanumati once remarked about Anr saying, “He is like a scorpion. He will sting but it will not have poison. It will however inflict pain."
