Once upon a time, Amaravati area was filled with full of greenery as the land would yield three crops every year. Pathetically, this wonderful area was chosen for AP's capital by previous TDP government..

And more sadly, lot of money was incurred for temporary constructions of Amaravati. The government became extravagant for some of the unnecessary constructions. According to reports, it will take 50 years for the complete construction of Amaravati

As we all know, counting of general polls will be done on May 23. According to psephologists, the TDP government will lose the elections battle for sure. Anti incumbency is the main reason for TDP's debacle. Especially, unnecessary expenditure for Amaravati becomes one of the reasons for TDP's defeat.

If not TDP, either Janasena or YSRCP will form the government. What will be the take of new CM on Amaravati? Most of the people, who include farmers and many other sections, plead the new CM (maybe Jagan or Pawan) to grow paddy fields in Amaravati like before.

People of AP actually wish shifting of the capital to either Vizag or Kurnool. Since it may not happen that easier, they wish 75% of the land should be used for cultivation. Rest of the 25% is enough for capital area. Moreover, development should not be confined to just one area. It must be spread to all parts of the state. Especially, backward areas like Rayalaseema and North Andhra should be given due importance in all-round development.

Developing Amaravati just caters the needs of a particular dominating caste from TDP. Other sections will remain to be suppressed. The resources and the development must be shared among all sections. Then only, social justice will be achieved. Hopefully, the new CM would work on it.
