Who’s Wrong: Maharshi Or BAN Makers?

Makers of Super Star Mahesh Babu’s silver jubilee film Maharshi had come up with a statement few days ago that the film became highest grosser in the actor’s career. They claimed that, the film had surpassed lifetime collections of Mahesh Babu’s previous films such as Srimanthudu and Bharat Ane Nenu.

Bharat Ane Nenu was the highest grosser in Mahesh Babu’s career with full run share of Rs 92 crores. However, makers of the Koratala Siva directorial had released fake collections posters saying the film crossed 205 Cr mark (gross) within three weeks time.

Interestingly, Maharshi makers released a new poster to announce the film’s box office collections till date. The poster shows, “175 Crores Gross + Counting.” Going by this poster, Maharshi is yet to cross Bharat Ane Nenu collections record yet or we should assume BAN collections as fake.

On the flip side, some assert that, Maharshi collections are also not genuine. They say, Maharshi is yet to reach breakeven mark in few centers and it would end as a flop maker in Ceded, Overseas and few other territories. They allege Nizam numbers are also fake.
