Tollywood Doing Away With This Tradition

Generally every story has to end however long or lengthy it may be. People do not like to get up till they see 'The End' card in the last. However it seems filmmakers are doing away with this tradition. They are ending stories not with full stop but with a comma. Just like how Mahesh Babu says 'Success has no full stop only commas', filmmakers are saying 'stories have no full stop, only commas'.

Be it big budget or low budget film, makers are not leaving even a small opportunity to continue the story. They are under the impression that if they end their films in such manner, in future they can think of sequels and use the same titles.

The makers of King Nagarjuna's Manmadhudu wouldn't have thought about the future. Even after so many years, neither Nag nor Trivikram thought about the sequel. However Rahul Ravindran dreamed of the impossible and started Manmadhudu 2.

Nag is also starring in Bangarraju, prequel for Soggade Chinni Nayana. After the success of Soggade, Nagarjuna expressed his desire. The presence of Naga Chaitanya in Bangarraju is another delight for Akkineni fans. Nag is also starring in the sequel for Raju Gari Gadi. Already Ohmkar after the success of Raju Gari Gadi came with Raju Gari Gadi 2 and is now planning Raju Gari Gadi 3.

Adivi Sesh is thinking of Goodhachari sequel and plans are on for Yaatra sequel following the stunning victory of Jagan's YSRCP in the recent assembly elections.

Already Anil Ravipudi announced sequel his blockbuster film F2 naming it as F3. Nikhil is coming with Karthikeya 2. Lawrence gained immense recognition with Kanchana sequels. But many say sequels will go wrong if they do not have strong storyline and there are many pointers like Arya 2, Shankar Dada Zindabad, Sardar Gabbar Singh, Premakatha Chitram 2, NTR biopics etc.
