Kabir Singh Witnesses Growth

Kabir Singh, official remake of Vijay Devarakonda and Shalini Pandey starrer Arjun Reddy, is treading the same path of the original. After getting an incredible opening, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani continued to weave magic on the second day of its release as well.

Witnessing around 10 per cent growth on second day, Kabir Singh earned Rs 22.71 crore on Saturday, thus taking the total collection to Rs 42.92 crore Nett. Usually, films that open big and maintain a steady collection through Saturday have a better chance of turning into a hit. Trade experts believe the film will collect over Rs 65-67 crore on the weekend.

Despite receiving mixed reviews, Kabir Singh is cashing in on a strong word of mouth and popular star-cast. Interestingly, the film is doing well in single screens as well.
