Reddy’s One Last Chance To Mahesh!

Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga became popular with his maiden directorial venture Arjun Reddy that starred Vijay Devarakonda. The director was flooded with offers in Tollywood. But, he chose to direct a big star in his next.

In fact, Vijay Devarakonda was not the original choice for Arjun Reddy. But, after several stars rejected the film, Sandeep finally roped in Vijay for the film. Fortunately, Vijay became an overnight star with the tremendous response for the film.

Sandeep Reddy prepared another script and narrated it to Super Star Mahesh Babu who lauded the director after watching Arjun Reddy and showed interest to work with him. Nonetheless, Mahesh Babu suggested few changes to the script to suit his image.

Had Mahesh Babu accepted his script, Sandeep Reddy’s second film would have been with the super star. The director didn’t waste time since Mahesh finalized directors of his next few ventures. He remade Arjun Reddy in Hindi as Kabir Singh with Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in leads. As we know, Kabir Singh is turning out to be a blockbuster.

Now, few Bollywood producers and stars are showing interest to team up with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. But, Sandeep Reddy wants to approach Mahesh Babu another time with modified script. If Mahesh Babu okays the script, he will next work with him or else he would make his next in Bollywood.

It is also learnt that, even if Mahesh Babu gives his nod and tells Sandeep to wait for one or two years, he is expected to make another film in Bollywood as he doesn’t like to sit idle for such long time.
