Lava Kusas' Unaware Of NTR

Movie lovers cannot forget yesteryear classic Lava Kusa. NTR, Anjali Devi starred in Lava Kusa directed by Pulliah in 1963. Actors Anaparti Nagaraju and Naga Subrahamnyam who starred as Lava and Kusa as child artists had mesmerized movie lovers with their performances.

Even now they still share good bonding as brothers. Meanwhile, both shared their experiences in sharing screen presence with NTR and Anjali Devi and being part of a classic.

They said both acted in a jovial manner as disciplined students. They said the film's shooting continued for five years and their growth over the years looked natural on screen to everyone.

They revealed they never got bored with five years shooting. About sharing screen presence with NTR, Kusa said, “During that time, we don’t know that he was a great star. We were unaware of NTR and Anjali. The moment director gave us a dialogue or a poem and turned on the camera, we slipped into action."

Lava said, “In the entire film we had only two scenes with NTR while entire shooting happened with Anjali Devi."

On association with NTR after Lava Kusa, Lava said, “We continued our relation for quite some time. NTR used to draw us close to him. Where ever we are, we used to go to NTR's house to see him."

About NTR inviting them to politics, they said, "We never had any political discussions. However only NTR had the stature to dare Indira Gandhi and create a tsunami. Later no one came near to his performance."
