Finding your feet in Tollywood is by no means an easy task if you aren't blessed with a godfather or family connections. Nevertheless, there are quite a few celebrities who have made it big and on their own. Good story selection, hard work and perseverance have helped them become notable stars.
Vijay Devarakonda is definitely one amongst them. He made acting debut with a TV serial and first appearance on big screen was with Nuvvila where he played a small and not so important role. He then appeared in a brief role in Sekhar Kammula’s Life Is Beautiul.
Vijay Devarakonda got recognition with Nani starrer Yevade Subramanyam where he played a supporting role. Pelli Choopulu provided first break. But, Arjun Reddy made him an overnight star.
He scored couple of hits with Geetha Govinam and Taxiwala. Vijay Devarakonda is now a youth icon with huge fan following in college going students. His latest outing Dear Comade, despite receiving mixed talk, opened to good collections which is possible only for stars. If not negative talk was spread, the film would have become a decent hit, at least.
Many wonder, who actually spread this negative talk on Dear Comrade in social media which caused negative impact on the film collections.
It is reliably learnt that, a star hero who is jealous of Vijay Devarakonda’s newfound stardom asked fans not to encourage him. Until he told them, they used to support Vijay because they liked his previous films and his acting.
But, when the serious warning came from their hero, they haven’t just stopped supporting Vijay Devarakonda but are also spewing venom on the actor and his film with negative comments in social media.
Vijay Devarakonda who hugely believed in the film is continuing to promote it. He will soon resume shoot of his new film under Kranthi Madhav’s direction. After wrapping up this film, he will join the shoot of Hero.
There were even reports that, Vijay Devarakonda’s Hero was shelved. But, the film unit clarified saying, the film is very much on. Apparently, the ‘haters’ are leaving no stone unturned to defame Vijay Devarakonda!
