Vijay And Sharwa, A Publicity Stunt!

Hero worship is prevalent since time immemorial. Fans go to any extent to elevate the stardom of their celebrities. However, of late people are shocked to see fans prostrating at the feet of their heroes at various public functions.

It has become a fashion now a days for fans to breach the security cover and rush to the dais and fall on the heroes feet when they are promoting their films. Earlier this used to happen in case of top stars but now it is becoming common in case of young and upcoming heroes making those scenes extremely embarrassing.

Vijay Devarakonda got a shock during Dear Comrade pre release event when a fan fell at his feet and he in a shock lost his balance and was about to fall down. This triggered a huge discussion whether the entire incident was pre planned. Some suspected that producers planning such things to increase publicity about their heroes fan following.

Similar incident happened during Sharwanand's Ranarangam trailer launch. A fan fell at Sharwanand's feet after he completed his speech leaving him shell shocked.

Sharwanand regained his composure and spoke about it. He said the incident looked embarrassing and asked fans not to fall at their feet but rather fall at their parents feet. He wondered why these things are happening at film events and hoped that such incidents will not repeat in future.

It is not clear whether Ranarangam team was behind it, but Sharwa gave a serious warning. Even earlier Vijay Devarakonda reacted angrily. The question is will fans change after these warnings and producers stop these publicity stunts.
