It is a phenomenal achievement for a small screen anchor who is already married and blessed with two children to get offers on silver screen and get the enormous craze. Her rise to stardom is surprising all. But seeing her glamour, many vouches that most of current generation heroines pale in comparison.
But much to the surprise of all while she attracted with her glamour in Jabardasth, she toned down the same in films and did only performance-oriented roles. She is none other than evergreen anchor and popular Anasuya Bharadwaj who endeared herself to all with her performances in films like Soggade Chinni Nayana, Kshanam, Rangasthalam, F2 Fun and Frustration. She is playing a key role in Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru.
Her film Kathanam, a thriller is slated for a grand release on August 9th. All these days she did either special roles or extended cameos. But for the first time she is playing the lead role in Kathanam which is fighting against Nagarjuna's Manmadhudu 2 this Friday.
Now she has all the responsibility of carrying the film on her shoulders, pulling people to the theatres and power the film at the box office. As such the film's teaser and trailer are not carrying any buzz and though the story looks a bit different, there is nothing in the promos to surprise people. Unless until there is something sensational, it is difficult for lady-oriented films to win the hearts of the movie lovers.
With the makers not promoting in those lines and social media is abuzz on discussing only Anasuya's glamour, looks and style, analysts feel that the film will only help Anasuya increase her mileage rather than the film.
