Naga Chaitanya’s Version Of Dear Comrade

After delivering a blockbuster with Fidaa, sensible director Sekhar Kammula is teaming up with Naga Chaitanya for an untitled film that will feature Fidaa beauty Sai Pallavi. The film will start rolling from September 5th in Hyderabad.

Latest we heard is the film will have shades of Vijay Devarakonda’s last outing Dear Comrade which turned out to be a debacle at box office. As per sources, in the film, Sai Pallavi will be seen in the role of a youngster who fights against caste inequity and also exposes sexual abuse with support of Naga Chaitanya.

The story bears a resemblance to Dear Comrade where Protagonist supports his lady love when she is troubled by her cricket coach. Even if the leaked story is real, Sekhar Kammula has the knack of narrating known stories in most pleasing way. Likewise, he is expected to present the story in completely different and engaging manner.

Interestingly, Sai Pallavi was the original choice for Dear Comrade. But, she walked out of the project owing to unknown reasons. Now, she is allegedly playing similar role in the new film.
