Prabhas Shuns Extravaganza For Jaan

Young Rebel Star Prabhas' Saaho riding on his Baahubali sensation had done a sensational pre release business. Many predicted the film to break Baahubali records across the world. However the film except for the Hindi version, gave a huge shock. Everyone did intense scrutiny and postmortem over Saaho result.

Reports came that the initial budget for Saaho was just Rs 50 crs but following Baahubali success, the makers turned it into an extravagant affair increasing the budget enormously in the name of huge Bollywood cast and national and international stunt choreographers.

Buzz is Prabhas and others too modified Saaho original script to include the so called Bollywood cast who was anyway marginalised in the story. Already rumours have that Prabhas' Jaan was shelved. But it is coming out that Jaan is very much on and even Pooja Hegde raved about the never heard before story.

Prabhas too following the criticism on his looks, started working hard for his lover boy looks. Now inside talk is Prabhas decided to do away with the extravaganza in Jaan and make it into a simple, short and sweet love story.

Jaan is now being made with just Rs 150 crs budget, less than half that of Saaho. What is shocking is the film's story will revolve around just five characters and will have 1960s Europe backdrop. The film has a never seen before novel screenplay.

The makers are erecting 25 sets for the shoot and most of them will take place in Hyderabad. It seems since numerous characters in Saaho confused movie lovers, Jaan makers decided to focus only on hero and heroine and few other important characters.
