Working Hard To Defeat Rajamouli

Ever since the sensation Tollywood Jakkana Rajamouli created with his dream project Baahubali, filmmakers from across the country have been dreaming of coming with a project bigger and better than Baahubali.

However, till now their efforts failed but one director is relentlessly working to defeat Rajamouli. He is none other than ace director Shankar.

Before Rajamouli created a sensation with Baahubali, Shankar used to be the renowned director from the south who left Bollywood in awe. However Rajamouli with in no time overtook him with films like Magadeehra and Eega and with Baahubali, he reached the stars leaving everyone way behind.

Inside talk is ever since Rajamouli created a sensation with Baahubali and became India's No 1 director, Shankar has been seething with rage and anger. His close aides say he is leaving no stone unturned to come with a film that crosses the Baahubali range.

Those who watched Rajinikanth's 2.0, sequel for Robot felt the same. He tried to break Baahubali records just by creating VFX magic and forced the producers to spend lavishly. However, the film failed to make a powerful impact.

But even then, Shankar did not change his style. He is trying to turn his upcoming entertainer Kamal Haasan's Indian 2, a sequel for Indian, into a pan Indian film. Though he got into a controversy with regards to budget with the production house Lyca, he is not backing off.

Earlier reports came that Ajay Devgn will play the antagonist's role. Now even before any clarification came another rumor spread that Anil Kapoor would play the role. Some sources say both Ajay Devgn and Anil Kapoor would play key roles in the film. The question is can Shankar defeat Rajamouli breaking Baahubali records with his antics.
