Boyapati Srinu who is popular to guage the pulse of the masses is one of the top directors in Tollywood. He floored movie lovers with his high voltage mass action entertainers. He is known to elevate heroism in his films taking everyone by surprise. The towering emotions in his films make even a cool guy to curse the villain and thrash him black and blue.

All his films have heroes chopping off the heads of the villains, singlehandedly bashing the baddies etc. He scored many hits with his trademark formula but it turned out to be routine as he repeated in numerous times. The same formula which presented him hits now plunged him into flops.

Now inside talk is even stars who once dreamed of teaming at least once with him are now getting scared on hearing his name. Many feel that time has come for this mass director to undergo image transformation. When filmmakers are coming with different genre films like Baahubali, Sye Raa and RRR, it will be difficult for Boyapati to continue in the same format and score a hit.
