Sundeep Kishan who tasted a bitter result with his last outing Tenali Ramakrishna BABL and is presently starring in a sports drama A1 Express will next join hands with a debut director Chandu for biopic on Uday Kiran (33) who committed suicide by hanging himself at his apartment in the city on January 5, 2014.
Besides playing Uday Kiran, Sundeep Kishan will also produce the flick if things go well. He reportedly asked director Chandu to come up with bounded script in next couple of weeks.
As is known, Uday Kiran was supposed to tie the knot with mega star Chiranjeevi's daughter Sushmitha. However, the wedding was called off due to some reasons. There were rumors that Uday Kiran's career had gone for a toss after his marriage was called off.
However, Uday Kiran’s sister rubbished the rumors stating it was Chiranjeevi who came up with the marriage proposal to wed his daughter to Uday, who was having a rough time post a bitter break-up.
Uday Kiran was married to Vishitha in 2012. Two years later, the actor committed suicide at his residence when the latter had gone out for some work. After his death, some of his fans raised slogans against Chiranjeevi.
Now, the question is will Sundeep Kishan and his makers dare to include Chiranjeevi’s character in the film. But, it seems, Sundeep is avoiding such controversies. He feels there is no need to delve into any controversy as there is so much drama in Uday’s life.
The film is likely to be launched early next year.
