Shocking Attack On Sye Raa

Mega Star Chiranjeevi realized his dream of donning the role of a freedom fighter on-screen with Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. It is known that the film on Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy was a long-standing dream of Chiranjeevi which got delayed due to budget constraints and also due to Chiru's political entry.

Following the sensation of Rajamouli's Baahubali, Ram Charan decided to thrill his dad Chiranjeevi by producing Sye Raa. The film which released across the country in various languages, however, failed to show its power.

Sye Raa did well only in two Telugu states Telangana and Andhra Pradesh disappointing mega family who dreamed of creating a sensation across the country. Now yesteryear actor Giri Babu came with a shocker about Sye Raa.

He said “After watching Sye Raa, I called Chiranjeevi and congratulated him for doing a wonderful film. I also told him that people may not see such films at present. I told him no one will see films on freedom fighters and the Independence era as they got used to seeing hero running after the heroine and indulging in all kinds of monkey acts. I told Chiranjeevi that people will not see films on freedom fighters at present."

Giri Babu speaking to scribes said already 75 years passed after getting Independence and during that time people used to watch films on freedom fighters like Alluri Seetha Raama Raju, Bhagat Singh, Gandhi, etc but now people will not see such films. Giri Babu's words turned true as people showed in watching films with visual wonders rather than Sye Raa.
