Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo Loses 5 Cr Due to Compromise?

All the dust got settled. Stylish Star Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo's release date has been confirmed as January 12 by its producers. Hitherto, Overseas buyers forced the film makers to get their film's release advanced to January 10 so that they could avail the first weekend advantage. Finally, nothing of that sort happened.

And now, it appears AVPL's makers lose around Rs.5 crore opening share for sticking on to January 12th release. Since the film is releasing on Sunday, the film missed the first weekend's advantage to the fullest which may result in the loss of Rs.2.5 crores in Overseas. And the movie's loss worth is Rs.2.5 crores in India. Altogether the film film may lose Rs.5 crore opening collections.

However, if the opposition films carry poor responses and AVPL gets positive reports, the film can avail festival days advantage merely. It's obvious exhibitors go crazy to screen hit films in their theatres during Sankranthi festival days. AVPL can score brownie points here.

AVPL was directed by Trivikram under Mega Producer Allu Aravind and Radhakrishna's production. Pooja Hegde donned female lead while Thaman scored tunes.
