Did you remember? When Young Rebel Star Prabhas and director Nag Ashwin's film was announced, it was divulged by film unit sources that the estimated budget for the film would be Rs.200 crores.
However, the proposed budget hasn't given enough kick to the fans and they reportedly expressed their grievance to the film's team. As a result, film's team doubled the budget suddenly, but on papers. According to the latest reports, film's team is sending the feelers to media circles that the estimated budget of the film would be Rs.400 crores. They further gave the leaks to the media that Prabhas would get Rs.100 crore remuneration apart from getting a share in profits.
Both the budget and Prabhas's remuneration could surely have been trusted unless the film's team disclosed the film would get its regular shoot wrapped up in just one year.
According to the statistical evidences, it's an unbelievable miracle a film is made with Rs.400 crore budget in just one year span. For an instance, numero uno director Rajamouli's RRR is being made with a budget Rs.350 crores. But then, the film has been on sets for three years. As such, Rs.350 crore budget can be justifiable and it can easily be trusted by everyone.
A senior producer said,"It would be a Herculean task even if Rs.200 crore are spent on a film's shoot in just one year. Filmmakers spread many rumours to ensure their films capture good market."
Meanwhile, Prabhas and Nag Ashwin's film would be made as a Science fiction film. The heroine and other cast and crew are yet to be finalized.
