A fake message which went viral on Whatsapp groups on Monday evening, 6th April made Whatsapp admins fooled of it.

The fake post reads, "Tonight 12 onwards Disaster Management Act has been implemented across the country. According to this update, no citizen is allowed to post any update or share any forward related to coronavirus for 48 hours and it's being a punishable offence."

Having checked the facts right, it's made out neither such Act of Disaster Management has come into force nor the Supreme Court has given any such ruling to the citizens of India to stop posting updates in Whatsapp for 48 hours.

However, panic-stricken Whatsapp admins are learnt to have changed their Whatsapp settings to make sure only admins could share the posts in the groups. They need to get enlightened to know which is real and which is the fake post on Whatsapp groups.
