Samantha, Better Not To Do That Film!

After her marriage with Naga Chaitanya, Samantha has become very choosy. Moreover, she is picking female centric roles and the characters that will have great significance. After Jaanu, she hasn’t officially signed any straight Telugu film so far, though there have been reports of she is keen to work again with director Nandini Reddy.

The reports suggested that, both Samantha and Nandini Reddy are willing to remake Kannada film Dia. However, those who have watched the film are suggesting the actress and director not to do the film. It’s because the film has shades of Telugu film Andala Rakshasi and the sad ending may not please Telugu audience. Slowness in narration is other negative factor. So, considering all these, better Samantha to look for fresh scripts.

Samantha signed couple of Tamil films- Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadha with Vignesh Shivan and an untitled film with Ashwin Saravanan. She also has plans to launch her own production house.
