The union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman has come up with innumerable sops to unorganized sectors, migrant workers, farmers and for middle class sections on Thursday.Convening a press meet on second consecutive day, the finance minister mouthed following benefits to various sectors.
* Affordable rents at houses will be provided for migrants
* Affordable rental housing scheme for migrant workers
* There will be a mega employment scheme for migrants.
* Manufacturing units will be recentivised
* There will be massive steps for migrants accommodation.
* Free food grain will be provided for 8 crore migrant workers.
* Rs.1500 crore interest subvention scheme to be implemented.
* Interest subvention of 2% for 12 months
* A total of 50 lakh street vendors will be able to avail upto Rs.10000 crore capital from the union government. Digital payments will be enabled for vendors
* Rs.1500 crore support for Mudra Sishu Sankshema.
* For the middle class sections with Rs.6 to 18 lakh annual income, credit linked subsidy schemes will be extended upto Mach 31, 2021. Right now, 3.3 lakh people are benefited now. With the extension, another 2.5 to 5 lakhs will avail the benefit.
* Rs.30K crore additional emergency funds will be allocated for farmers.
* Nearly 2 lakh crores will be allocated for PM Kisan Credit Cards to around 2.5 crore farmers. Fishermen and Animal Husbandry professionals can also avail this scheme.
